Publisher’s Summary
From Audible Originals comes a dark and chilling thriller, perfect for fans of Stuart MacBride and The Ratcatcher, read by Lorne MacFadyen.
Glasgow journalist Danny Delvecchio has spent his life running from the day his twin sister was murdered by serial killer Robert Liddle. Twenty years on, history is repeating itself; bodies begin appearing across the city, each posed like Liddle’s victims.
Then Danny receives a chilling message: Find her.
Danny has twenty-four hours to save a young woman’s life. But the killer knows everything about him. Every move. Every fear. Every mistake that haunts his sleepless nights. As Danny races against time through Glasgow’s darkest corners, he realises the murderer isn’t just copying Liddle’s crimes, he’s targeting Danny himself.
Someone close to him is playing a twisted game. Someone who knows that the only thing more dangerous than a serial killer’s legacy is a man determined to honour it.
In a city where everyone has secrets and no one can be trusted, Danny must confront the trauma he’s buried for decades, or become the next victim of a killer hiding in plain sight.

I’m used to reading crime fiction, amongst other genres, and this was a pleasant different take on it. Well narrated, even those not used to the Scottish accent should be able to understand it (I’m not from UK but my local pub was primarily Irish, inc all UK country travellers). Whilst for me I had suspicions early, the journey and exploration of the case and impacts of family loss were done in a way that felt real enough without getting too heavy. Nice change from typical crime fiction, Very much enjoyed
